Join us at Holzinger Lodge in Winona, MN for our 4th annual Snow Bomb Fat Bike Race and Chili Cook-Off on Feb. 11, 2017.
The Snow Bomb is a criterium-style fat bike race hosted by Winona Area Mountain Bikers (WAMB). This event is for all ages, abilities, and bikes, but fat bikes are encouraged, as the race takes place on the groomed Holzinger Trail System at Bluffside Park in Winona, MN.
The race will consist of a 2-hour (Endurance) or 1-hour (Sprint) Criterium-style race on the Holzinger trails.
The course is available on Strava: https://www.strava.com/activities/228078523. The 3.75 mile course consists of rolling terrain with a mix of groomed double-track and single-track. Approximately 200 feet of rolling ascent per lap - which also means 200 feet of ripping fast descending, so tune up those brakes!
There are men's and women's categories, with prizes for the top racers. There will also be a Little Rippers category for the younger riders.
Race day registration will be available for $35 beginning at 9:00 AM; registration ends 15 minutes prior to the race start.
WAMB t-shirts will be available for purchase during your online registration. There will also be a limited quantity for sale at the race.
