Come join us for the 10th annual Gallop for the Gravy, "The Run for the Hungry" at 8 AM Thanksgiving Day before the turkey and traveling! This fun certified 5K Race through the Forest Hills Neighborhood in Wilmington, NC provides a great way to start your Thanksgiving holiday in the spirit of gratitude. Proceeds benefit Full Belly Project, Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, and Nourish NC, local organizations whose missions support feeding the hungry, both here in our community and around the world.
The race will be followed by an awards ceremony, during which bobblehead trophies will be given to the 3 fastest men and 3 fastest women in each age group! First place winners (for each age category) will take home a HOMEMADE pie, just in time to enjoy during your Thanksgiving dinner!
The tradition of honoring the "Fastest Rotarian" will continue this year, with our customary trophy; if you are a member of Rotary in ANY club, be sure to let us know at registration, so that you can qualify for this award.
Pre-Register NOW to make race morning a breeze! At this point, we won't be able to guarantee your t-shirt size, but we will try our best to match your size.
