Unfortunately due to COVID-19 the event change been changed to September 12th, 2020. This years themed event will be "Around The World In 5k". Your 5k walk/run will submerge you in a journey through different cultures from around the world. At every kilometer you will be exposed to the music of different countries - from bagpipes of Ireland, mariachis of Mexico, accordions of Italy, bouzouki of Greece and Cyprus, etc. You will be welcomed at the finish line with an abundance of fun, and entertainment. There will be food booths from around the world taking your tastebuds on a cultural journey. from all over the world me event is to get fit, have fun and enjoy all the amazing entertainment. @letjoannainspireyou
Event details and schedule
Unfortunately due to COVID-19 the event change been changed to September 12th, 2020. This event will be for professional runners to families supporting a great cause. The start time will be at 10:30 am. The celebrations at the finish line will end at approximately 3:30-4pm.
The course is an easy course with hardly no hills. Approximately 4 km of the course is on Francis Lewis Boulevard. Whoever hasnt ever done a 5k course, this year will be different because we will have a lot of fun entertainment during your course.
There are approximately 3 water stations during the course.
We recommend parking at the finish line and taking an Uber to the starting line, or ask whoever attended last year what they recommend.
