About This Activity

The 20th Annual Auggie's 5K Run & Walk benefits the programming of the Ohio County Animal Shelter. The flat and fast course, which commences and ends at Warwood Middle School, is on Wheeling's Heritage Trail along the Ohio River. Essentially, runners and walkers have separate, out-and-back courses, despite starting and finishing in the same area. Runners run north on the paved trail, and walkers walk south. There will be post-race refreshments and door prizes.

Long-sleeve Tech Shirts with original artwork by WPHS student Kendal Rownd are guaranteed to first 200 pre-registrants (10/01/18).

Commemorative Hoodies and Hats available for purchase. Artwork by Jack Hennen.

Gift Certificates & Custom Medallions to top 3 males & females of both the run and the walk, and custom medallions (artwork by Sherry Stauver) to top males & females in age divisions.

Runner's Connection (Bellaire, Ohio): Purchase any regular priced shoe between September 1 & October 6 and receive a free race entry.
