What's Included

Based on the original Broadway production that ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, and the Academy Award-winning motion picture, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. is a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. features some of the most popular songs ever written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

About This Organizer

Stage Kids offers a multi-disciplinary theatre arts program that includes vocal, dance, and theatre classes, fully staged musicals, and summer camps. In addition to youth participants, we serve the larger community through Broadway-style musical performances.
National Youth Performers (dba Stage Kids CA and Stage Kids WA) is a non-profit public benefit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. Created in 2010, to address the lack of year-round theater education, Stage Kids began with 35 children the first year. Since then our organization has experienced exponential growth and we currently serve over 350 youth performers annually in both California and Washington State.
Specifically, this organization will (a) promote the arts and culture, (b) instruct children for the purpose of improving their capabilities in theater and musical productions and (c) develop life skills such as responsibility, teamwork, and building confidence. We have established two (2) programs in continuing our purposes. We further our purposes under these programs by acting as the executive producers of plays and musical theatre performances in San Jose, CA and the Wenatchee Valley, WA.
Support quality youth performing arts programs, which focus on developing skills and confidence.
Create uplifting theater experiences to develop life skills of responsibility, teamwork and confidence in youth while providing access to every child who wants to experience performing arts education.
