NEW! TEEN Metal Jewelry w/ Chris Darway Age: 12+ Tuesdays, 4:00pm - 5:30pm
No bead stringing here! Real tools, real metals, real jewelry.
Each week students will be introduced to a different technique on how to manipulate a piece of metal, using a variety of tools from the jewelers bench. Students' skills transform a square flat piece of copper, brass, or silver, into a piece of wearable jewelry--earrings, rings and bracelets.
Sign up with a friend and become bench buddies. Brainstorm ideas and share design sketches--all while creating unique and personalized jewelry pieces together.
Projects change each week, with new skills and techniques being taught for all levels of students. No previous jewelry experience is needed.
This is a 10 week, 1.5 hour, after-school class.
