Each {YEL!} STEM class follows four basic components. Teach it! Each class students are taught basic STEM engineering concepts behind each project. Build it! Students use LEGO® bricks to build a snapping dragon, railroad crossing, and design their own marshmallow catapult. Explore it! Then they use the project to explore basic engineering concepts (this session is focused on lever concepts). Play it! finally they play with their project, modify it, create extensions and have fun working with it.
