If you are registereing online on Friday Sept. 20 after 10am you will pick up your packet on Saturday race morning.The District of Columbia has one of the highest cancer mortality rates in the United States. According to the American Cancer Society, 2,950 D.C. residents were diagnosed with cancer and 1,010 died in 2012. Washington Cancer Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center strives to reduce cancer mortality that affects the D.C. community by providing advanced care. The breadth of its services and the quality of its cancer care make the Cancer Institute one of the most innovative and progressive cancer centers in the region. Because of this, Four Seasons is proud to allocate all proceeds from the run to benefit cancer research at Washington Cancer Institute.Registration for the race begins at 7:00am followed by the kids 100-yard dash at 7:45am, and then the runners and walkers start at 8am and 8:10am respectively. Following the conclusion of the race there will be food booths featuring breakfast options from our local Georgetown restaurants as well as complimentary massages from The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC and a silent auction.
Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 Men, Top 3 Women, and the first place finisher in the following categories: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-99.
