About this event
Description
This class focuses on the development of fundamental ear training skills with an emphasis on jazz. Students learn to identify the melodies, basic harmony, and rhythms that are essential elements of the jazz tradition. The class examines examples from legendary jazz recordings and takes students through transcription and identification exercises. Please note: All instruments are welcome.
