Bike to Brooklyn is an extraordinary bike/run endurance experience. Participants will cycle approximately 267 miles from Washington DC to Brooklyn, NY, arriving in time to compete in the Staten Island half marathon.

Proceeds from this event support the efforts of Run Hope Work: a non-profit, DC based 501c3 organization that helps at-risk youth transform their lives through running.

Ride Support and Logistics
- SAG Vehicle Support
- Transportation back to departure location (you and your bike!)
- Bike mechanics on hand throughout the duration of event
- Fuel stops every 40 miles (all meals included)
- Check-in stops at 20 mile increments
In addition to a $200* registration fee, participants pledge to raise $750*. Bike to Brooklyn will assist participants by providing fundraising tools and support to help meet their pledge. Within 30 days of registration the participant will be contacted by a Bike to Brookyln team member for assistance.

DC- Bike to Brooklyn 2016 departs Saturday morning with a grand send off from BicycleSPACE in Adams Morgan. 5:30 am Departure
Baltimore- 7:30 am arrival. Our first stop in Baltimore includes breakfast and coffee provided by Caffe Latte'Da, a Fells Point favorite. 8 am departure
Susquehanna State Park- 11:30 am arrival. We stop for a picnic lunch at thia scenic Maryland park on the coast the Susquehanna River. Picnic catering provided by Vagabond Sandwich Company. 12 pm depature
New Castle Delaware- 2:30 pm arrival. This highway pit stop includes fries and crabcakes provided Capt. Zeak's Crab House. 3 pm departure
Philly- 6 pm arrival. We take a long break in Philadelphia at Transport Cycles, 1105 Frankford Ave. In Philly, participants can tune up, enjoy a catered supper and hop on or off the ride. Philly folks are welcome to stop by the shop to meet our riders between 6-9 pm. 10 pm Departure
Princeton NJ- 1 am arrival. Our Princeton stop includes late-night subs and steaks on the Princeton University campus. Late night grub provided by student's favorite Hoagie Haven. 1:30 am departure
NYC- 6:00 am Arrival in Brooklyn. Here, participants receive a warm welcome, including breakfast. Those wishing to complete the challenge will prepare to run the Staten Island half marathon. Vans will depart for Staten Island Ferry at 7:15am. Those who skip the run are encouraged to stick around for the post challenge celebration.
1:00 pm- Post Challenge Celebration
3:00 pm- Vans return to cities of origin (DC and Philadelphia).
