The Orange County Bicycle Club, Catholic Charities, Big Brother Big Sisters of Orange County, and The Sanctuary for Animals welcome you to the 2019 Orange County Country Roads Ride with the Camels Bicycle Tour. This is a charity event with all proceeds benefiting Catholic Charities, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, and The Sanctuary for Animals.
We offer several distance courses with the option of riding individually or joining in a group ride led by an experienced Bike Club member. This ride is fully supported by road marshalls for safety, well stocked rest stops, and a sumptious lunch with a live band.
Event details and schedule
Ride any one of four routes on uncrowded roads through the pristine landscape of Orange County in New York's Hudson Valley. Participants have the option of riding individually following marked roads with accompanying cue sheets or riding as part of a group (10 and 25 mile routes) led by an experienced Bike Club member. All pre-registerd riders receive a complementary gift, specially designed for this event.
This is a rain or shine event, no refunds will be provided.
Pre-registration $35, $40 day of event, children under 12, $10 pre-registered, $15 day of event.
Family Fun Ride (10 mile, 2 adults, 2 children under 12 max) - $50 pre-registered, $55 day of event
Children under 18 must ride with an adult
On-line registration EXTENDED until Midnight Thursday, September 12.

10 mile- 10:00 AM
Along the way visit with our namesake camels and refuel at rest stops placed at reasonable intervals. Reststops feature home baked goods, beverages, and portable bathroom facilities.
All routes are well marked and SAG support is provided to assist riders as needed.
