The English Half Marathon is celebrating it's 10th year in 2018, so join us at our prestidgious start line with Warrington's Town hall as it's backdrop. Take a tour of some of our beautiful local scenery with interesting landmarks along the way and receive one of our famous medals when you cross our red carpet finish through the the iconic Golden Gates.

Parking and Transportation
Both the train stations (Warrington Bank Quay & Warrington Central) are less than a 10 minute walk to the Start Line.
Warrington Bus Station is about a 5 minute walk from the Start Line.
If driving the recommended car parks are:
Golden Square Car Park There are over 1,700 parking spaces between the 3 level multi-story car park accessed via Midland Way, or the underground car park accessed via Legh Street.
The race starts at 9am in Winmarleigh Street and the route will take the runners across Bridgefoot and east along Knutsford Road, before heading south through Grappenhall and Appleton Thorn.
The second half of the course returns to the town centre via Lumb Brook Road and Knutsford Road, then passing through the town centre and finishing by running up Winmarleigh Street to the Golden Gates. The course is very different to previous years, apart from the Grappenhall and Appleton Thorn areas, and once again there will be full and partial road closures and diversions for several hours from 5am until 2pm.
