Description

Enjoy great camaraderie (and a lot of fun!) as you hear about fish ecology, identification, and creel limits and try some sure-fire techniques at this program created for women and led by women. Equipment provided. Ages 18 and up. To register by phone instead, call 630-933-7248.


Use the Butterfield Road entrance and follow the signs to Sand Pond. (Click the link in the upper right to open a map.) Meet at the shelter.
Dress for the weather and bring water, sunscreen and bug spray. We encourage you to bring your own fishing gear but will have a limited first-come, first-served supply. Bait is provided.
In accordance with Restore Illinois guidelines, visitors who are not fully vaccinated must • Wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth when inside forest preserve buildings. • Practice social distancing inside and outside when in the preserves. • Wear a mask outside anytime social distancing isn’t possible.
