Verdun Adventure Bound is hosting a golf tournament on Friday, May 3, 2019, in loving memory of our good friend and former Board Member, Judge Dudley Payne Jr. WHERE: The tournament will take place at the Fauquier Springs Country Club in Warrenton. TIME: Registration Check in @ 10:00 AM; Shotgun @ 11:00 AM ENTRY FEE: $150 per player includes: *Green fees *Gift bags * Baseball Hat *Beverages on course *Continental breakfast *Access to driving range with balls *NEW THIS YEAR: *Boxed lunch *Two Mulligans *After Tournament Happy Hour With One Drink Ticket Per Player Courtesy of Fauquier Springs Country Club, each player will receive a coupon for one round of golf, with discounted play for three additional players, redeemable Monday through Thursday, cart fees not included. FORMAT: Tournament will be played in a Captain's Choice format. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place teams and top female team. Prizes will also be awarded for closest to the pin, closest to the line, longest drive M/F. MAXIMUM OF 36 TEAMS. PROCEDURE: Single players are welcome *Please consider becoming a sponsor to help make our day a success.* CANCELLATION POLICY: If the golf tournament is canceled due to weather or other events, player will receive a full refund. if player cancels, 72-hours notice is required to receive 50% of entry fee. If the player is a no-show, entry fee is non-refundable.

About This Organizer

Verdun Adventure Bound (VAB) received its 501 (C)(3) nonprofit status in 1999. Verdun Adventure Bound's Non-Profit Mission is to support and promote youth and adult personal growth through experiential learning and to teach stewardship of the land.
Verdun Adventure Bound (VAB) provides team building experiences for youth and adults which supports and promotes personal growth through experiential learning on our pole based challenge course. Youth organizations are provided customized team building programs to fit the needs of local public, independent and parochial schools along with church groups beginning at 8 years of age. These inclusive programs also serve at-risk youth with economic, mental and/or emotional needs. VAB is also strongly committed to providing support to the Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of America in Culpeper, Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties.
Customized corporate organizations are offered multiple team building options on and off campus, from hiking and river trips to our pole based challenge course. These programs are ideal for company excursions, trips and outings, fun group activities or a wonderful getaway from conferences and meetings.
VAB’s primary focal points of its programs include the exploration of self, group dynamics and community service. Our curriculum reflects a wide range of life skills and subjects designed to broaden the outlook and education of our youth and adults.
At Verdun Adventure Bound, the outdoors is our classroom. All exercises emphasize safety first and contain educational components that help create a strong sense of environmental conservation and stewardship.
