TIMEFRAME: Day 1 - 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Day 2 - 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. CAMP DESCRIPTION: The Baylor Elite Equestrian Clinics will include riding instruction by respective discipline coaches. The purpose of this clinic is to enhance your riding skills and to gain a better understanding of what it takes to be a collegiate equestrian. After several riding sessions, riders will compete in a mock collegiate competition on day two of the clinic. Baylor team horses and tack will be provided. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to become educated on NCAA rules and regulations and learn about the perks of being a Division I student-athlete. Lunch will be included to riders on Day 1 along with snacks and drinks. All participants will receive a Baylor Equestrian Clinic t-shirt. This is a 1.5-day clinic and lodging is not provided. Parents/guardians must drop off and pick up participants each day and are welcome to stay and watch. RESTRICTIONS: Baylor Equestrian clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender). It is imperative that our clinics provide a safe, positive, and beneficial forum for skill instruction and athletic advancement, therefore coaches reserve the right to limit activity for safety precaution. Riders must be in grades 9-12 during the 2022-2023 academic year. CANCELLATIONS: We require notice of cancellation 15 days prior to the clinic beginning. If notice is provided after that time, medical documentation is required. We are unable to refund the full amount due to registration fee's through Active. JUMPING SEAT SPECIFICS: Suggested that participants have been competing at a minimum fence height of 3 ft.
