ABOUT THE RACE: "Race to Remember" Memorial Day HONORING THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE whish has been our mission since 2009 when our founder and CEO Claudia Cardenas lost her fiance SFC Jason D. Vinyard an Army Veteran of 20years. Our “Race to Remember” Memorial Day Race is an annual timed event with finisher medals for all participants. The purpose of this event is to come together as a community to remember and honor the ultimate sacrifice made by our fallen military heroes. In the past years this race has taken place in Vancouver WA centered around the Vancouver Water Front and Fort Vancouver which is where SFC Vinyard served. One of the most heart felt parts of our Memorial Day ceremonies is the Honor Mile which is a community walk meant for us to slow down to remember and honor the ultimate sacrifice made by our military heroes and their families.
