Join Jodi Adams for a workshop designed to help reverse the mental, emotional, and physical damage done to our bodies by sitting at a desk for a majority of the work day. They say sitting is the new smoking, causing obesity, diabetes, and chronic pain. When we can begin to see the chair as a prop, much like a block, bolster or a strap used in a traditional yoga class, then we can use it to deepen our practice.
Jodi quit the corporate world 8 years ago to become a certified yoga teacher, and knows how challenging it can be to balance a work life with a healthy life. In this class, she will show you some easy and accessible ways to do core work, access a deeper stretch, and to use the chair for standing poses. For those brave enough to try, the chair can be used to go upside down!
Must register in advance. No walk-ins. Yoga Flexi Passes will be accepted.
