Torfaen Dolphins Performance SWimming Centre is one of Wales premier swimming clubs, we offer swimmers, of all abilities the opportunity to develop their skills. Regardles of whether you aspire to be an olympian or just want to have fun and compete regionally we offer a safe and fun environment where you will be welcomed by our coaches, volunteers and of course our swimmers.
Torfaen Dolphins pride ourselves on building confidence, not just in the pool but also outside of it, we want our members to not just be the best swimmers they can but also ensure they are great individuals and team players. We hold social events on a regular basis to ensure that our members are able to chill out and do something other than swimming all of the time.... there is more to life afterall.
Whether your son or daughter is coming towards the end of leisure trust swimming lessons and wants to look at swimming for fitness, or competitively, we are confident that our club has everything you required to fulfil your individual requirements and needs.
Our coaches come from all walks of life and give up there time voluntarily, many are ex swimmers some of which have represented their country so they understand what our swimmers go through mentally and physically. Additionally we are proud to support our coaches and ensure they are able to attain the highest possible coaching certification. This approach ensures our swimmers get the best possible training and support, we understand that every swimmer is different and have squads to suit those varying needs and ability.
Beyond our swimmers and coaches we have an army of volunteers, they help make our club great and ensure that everything runs like clock work. We have worked hard to attract, retain and develop our swimmers and are working even harder to continually improve.
