Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
Monthly Birding Tour at the El Rio Preserve presented by Pima County NRPR. Grab your binoculars and come join us on our monthly birding walks at the El Rio Preserve. You are sure to add new sightings to your personal birding list. Summer birding in the Sonoran Desert means we are searching for species like Black-chinned Hummingbird, Brown-crested Flycatcher, Bell’s Vireo, and Lucy’s Warbler, to name just a few! Join a Pima County Naturalist at El Rio Preserve as we search for those birds and a lot more. Bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Wear a hat and comfortable shoes.
For your safety and comfort:
- Wear closed-toe shoes
- Bring water & snacks
- Wear a hat
- Wear sunscreen
- Bring binoculars if you have them
