DINGLE WAY CHALLENGE

On Sunday 5th June 2016 the fourth Dingle Way Challenge will take place as we welcome you to West Kerry to take on the challenge and take in some of the best scenery in Ireland.

Description This promises to be an exceptional day in the mountains and on the beaches, with the banter of a walking group, taking in the surroundings and the history of West Kerry. You will walk around the most westerly peninsula in Europe, look out over the stunning Blasket Islands and Skellig Rock and take in the magic of Inch Beach. Starting at the foothills of Annascaul Lake the trek combines a mixture of beach, grass path and road walking and tells the story of the Irish speaking heartland made famous by the fim Ryan's Daughter.
The Challenge is ideal for groups, friends, teams and solo hikers alike (minimum age 18). There are 2 options available for booking:       1. The Dingle Way Challenge - 45km staged trek taking in a mixture of beach walks, grass paths and road walking.       2. The Ultra Dingle Way Challenge - 57km trek which starts at the foothills of the famous Conor Pass and takes in a tough extra 12 km mountain route across the peninsula before joining up with the Dingle Way Challenge route.    Please note that the Ultra route should only be attempted by people with high endurance and fitness levels and mountain trekking experience.   The trek is broken into 3 stages with refreshments at the end of every stage.      Each participant will receive:
