Beginners class is for participants with no experience and provides for a strong foundation in the rules and strategies needed to play the game. Advanced class is designed for participants who were in a previous beginner’s class or with some knowledge of the game and teaches important concepts including; recognition of tactical themes, calculations of material exchanges, and elementary endgame. All chess class participants can also play in training games with other participants. Fee includes an RBA ribbon award.
