1st Annual Greater Nashville Pickleball Fest at BethesdaThe inaugural Greater Nashville Pickleball Fest will be held at the Bethesda Sports Complex (4662 Bethesda Rd.) on 18 beautiful courts. This is a doubles tournament, so find a doubles partner (doubles, mixed doubles or both) and each of you sign up individually and reference your partner for each event. All participants will receive a free 3 ball sleeve of outdoor balls.There are a limited number of spaces available in each category, so please sign up as soon as possible. Cost: is $30 for each event. Snacks and water will be provided throughout the day. Times: Doubles on Saturday will begin at 9:00 AM and mixed doubles on Sunday will begin at 10:00 AM. Specific start times will be published approximately two days before the tournament. The tournament director reserves the right to adjust brackets and format as needed. THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT! There will be NO refunds, credits or make up days given due to weather. If weather is a factor, we will do all we can to play matches including delaying start times. There is NO indoor back up plan for this tournament.Athletes can play up in skill level to match their partner, but not down in levelFormat: Round Robin to 15, win by two, maximum of 17 points. Guaranteed to play minimum of four games. Medal matches following regulation play. Medal matches are best 2/3 to 11, win by two. Medal round participants are selected based on number of total wins with points earned utilized for tie breakers. If a tie occurs utilizing total wins and points earned, second tie breaker will be determined using points against. Williamson County Parks and Rec Registration Expectations: You don’t have to join WCPR or pay extra fees to play, but you will be required to register with some simple information like age, phone number, email, etc. Also, you may see pages during registration that are titled “Tennis”. Ignore the titles as the system pre-dates the popularity of Pickleball.DUPR Account Expectations: *This is a DUPR event. A DUPR account is not required to register for this event; however, if you do not set up a DUPR account is simple. Registration for this tournament closes at the end of the day on Wednesday, October 23rd.
We would need at least 24 hour notice if you have to cancel. Refunds will not be issued after tournament has begun.
