About this event
Formal instruction with Goedele will take place on Tuesdays, November 8th, 15th, 29th, and December 6th. Optional, uninstructed open studio days are offered on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Please note there is no class or open studio access the week of November 21st for Thanksgiving break. This session will tackle bigger and more complex forms created on the potter's wheel. Participants should be comfortable throwing about 3# of clay before signing up for this class. We’ll discuss wedging, centering more clay, making taller shapes and wider bowls, lids and plates. We’ll also explore some altered throwing techniques. Formal classes with Goedele will take place on Tuesdays and are mandatory. Students are also welcome but not required to attend uninstructed, open studio days on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10AM-1PM. Please note there is no class or open studio access during the week of November 21st for Thanksgiving break.
