From local Tampa Bay health enthusiasts to people who have visited Tampa Bay from all over the world, we’ve fallen in love with this beautiful fully paved fitness trail known as The Courtney Campbell Trail. Many of us have dreamed about participating in an event with water on both sides and this Bay run is one of the most classic in the world.
All distances are bib chip timed with a start and finish line mat. If you choose to change your distance on race morning please take the correct colored armband for the distance you will be completing and let Matt our timer at the start finish line know that you have changed distance and he will make the adjustment in the timing system.
All distances are an out and back course on the trail which is completely paved. If you are a participant who requires a special device please contact race management so that we start you in the perfect wave to suit your needs.

There is no penalty to change from 10K to 5K please just see Matt at the start/finish line tent when you arrive so he can make this easy adjustment in the timing system. I do not need you to reply to this email. Please only reply if you need a correction made to your name.
A water aid station is located at the 1.55 turn around as well as at the 10K turn around at the base of the bridge. The 10K turn is a small way up the bridge. Port-a-lets are located near the start/finish line as well as near the nape of the pedestrian bridge. Mike will go over these locations on race morning at check in.
Both the 10K and 5K are an out and back from Whiskey Joes and the trail is fully paved. We do not use any part of the road way so you are separated from vehicle traffic. High five, fist bump, or wave to a teen along the route. They are at the race representing various Tampa Bay high schools who are earning money through your commitment to the Tampa Bay Whiskey Run and each group will be taking home a youth/team scholarship from Finish Lines For Scholarships 501c3
