From teapots to (flying) saucers, in this class we will build on the basics to explore the creation of wheel-thrown forms that include additions and alterations to what we make in a single "go". Topics include both traditional and modern ceramic forms and iterative design and fabrication methods. A basic familiarity with the wheel is recommended, though no excuse is required. A class fee of $30 is due to the instructor on the first day of class. this fee will cover 25 lbs. of clay, glazes and firings.

Hazardous materials; Glazes are all food safe but cannot be ingested. Tools such as needle tool or trimming knives are sharp. Clay dust should not be inhaled but the room is kept clean.
