About this event

Description: Cross-country ski or snowshoe on our Winter Sports Park ski trails for your dog. Reservations will not be made onsite; you must make and purchase your Winter Sports Park activity online in advance. To reserve a date and time slot, please visit Winter Sports Park Activities in ActiveNet after purchase of Season Pass. Season Pass purchases are non-transferrable; please make sure the season pass is registered in the name of the person using the pass. The ActiveNet system will read that you purchased the season pass membership and not charge you for a daily reservation. Please be aware no refund or credit will be issued due to weather. Experience the thrill of gliding on snow with your four legged friend! Our groomed cross-country ski trails wind around 4km of meadow terrain with views of Lake Tahoe. Trails are groomed daily with both traditional cross-country ski tracks and wide lane for skate skiing. We also carry snowshoes in a variety of sizes for adults and children. No special shoes are necessary, and this is definitely fun for everyone! Dog Owners As a dog owner I agree to respect the following guidelines when skiing or snowshoeing with my dog at the Tahoe City Winter Sports Park: • Leashes are required at the trailhead and parking lot. • Dogs are not allowed in the day lodge, except for service dogs. • Always clean up after my dog. Poop bags are provided free of charge. • Please place all doggie bags in the garbage cans placed along the trail. • Stay on designated dog trails only. • When on trail, keep your dog close to you and under voice command. • Skijoring, being pulled along by a harnessed dog, is not allowed at the Winter Sports Park. • Dogs are not permitted on the sled hill or ice rink. • Please leave aggressive and unruly dogs at home. Upon arrival to the Winter Sports Park, you may check in 15 minutes before your reserved time. Only one (1) member of the party can enter the lobby/clubhouse at a time to check-in and pick up rental items (if applicable). Face mask/covering is required to be worn when inside the Winter Sports Park shop. Please do not visit the park if you are experiencing signs of illness (i.e. cough, fever, etc.).
