100 Raincliffe Road Sykesville, MD 21784The Liberty High School National Honor Society is hosting the Stride Against Suicide 5k run/walk fundraiser, on December 7th. This race will not only be spreading awareness about suicide but we will also be uniting the community as they join together to run in memory of those who’ve lost their lives to suicide.
The proceeds from the race will go towards the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Event details and schedule
- Race-day is Saturday December 7th at 9 am (Freedom Park)
- Park anywhere in the Freedom Park parking lot
- Registration is open until Wednesday December 4th at 11:00 pm
- Packet pick-up is Friday December 6th (6-8 pm) at Tri-Sport Junction (Downtown Sykesville)
- Registration is $20 until race-day, when it becomes $25 (paper registration is available and can be handed into Tri-Sport)
- Email if you’re interested in being a sponsor (your name will appear on a banner at the race)
- Sponsor commitments are due by November 22nd and sponsor donations are due by December 5th
- There are medals for top 3 male and female finishers
- Bring your race bib, water bottle, running shoes, family, and friends!
- Wear yellow to show your support!
