The Murph Challenge is a grueling workout that honors former Navy Seal LT. Michael P. Murphy, and is completed by participants in honor of LT. Murphy and all those brave men and women that have paid the ultimate sacrifice in service of our country. The workout entails a 1 mile run to start, followed by the completion of 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, and 300 squats, followed by another 1 mile run.
LT. Murphy was the leader of an elite four-man Seal Team, and sacrificed his own life defending his team and our country during Operation Red Wing. This year’s event at Marley Park in Surprise will be structured as both a competitive and recreational event that will raise funds for the LT. Michael P. Wave times will begin at 5AM with the final wave wrapping up in the early afternoon. There will be added wave times at 11 and 12:30 if necessary.
