Have you been looking for a fitness program that will provide you with strength and flexibility training as well as enhance your cardio endurance? Maybe you have an interest in walking or running a 5K and would like to feel great throughout the race. Maybe you don’t want to compete but simply want to improve your overall health. If any of this sounds familiar, MoveStrong is the right program for you!
MoveStrong is for anyone looking to increase their level of fitness. This ten week program will focus on strength training, balance, flexibility and endurance. It has been carefully designed by two fitness professionals to help adults of all ability levels improve general health, exercise technique and nutrition.
Registration cost includes 2 workouts per week lead by two Certified Health and Fitness Professionals. Classes will include dynamic warm-ups, strength training, balance and flexibility exercises, endurance training and a variety of activities to make exercise fun and enjoyable. This is a great way to increase your fitness, hold yourself accountable and have fun!
Event details and schedule
Class runs for 10 weeks
Classes will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6pm-7:15pm.
Classes begin: Monday, August 19
Classes End: Wednesday, October 30
No Class: Labor Day, September 2 or Columbus Day, October 14
Class Location: Lake Accotink Park, 7500 Accotink Park Road. We will meet at the Train trestle, please park in the lot closest to the trestle.
