Bicycling for Books is the first annuel century ride that will take place on scenic back roads of Robertson County with a party finish into the annual Tastes of County festival in Springfield, TN on the 16th of Sept 2017!
Participates will enjoy a safe ride, SAG support, fun give away's, and a first class finish into a party atmosphere, complete with complimentary bbq dinner and country music to celebrate a day of accomplishment.
This event will benefit the Stokes Brown Public Library and begins at the Public Library, located at 405 White Street in beautiful Springfield, TN. Riders can choose from 3 route options, 100, 60, or 40 miles. The course travels over the rural roads of northern Robertson County, TN, and into southern Logan County, KY, offering little vehicle traffic and breath taking vistas.
Four well stocked SAG stops will be located along the route in the quaint towns of Cross Plains, TN, Adairville, KY, and Adams, TN (home of the famous “Bell Witch”) as well as the picturesque Port Royal State Park.
Come join us for a full day of miles, breath taking view, good eats, and country music. We look forward to seeing you at the party in Springfield's historic square at the finish!

Please arrive early day of and be patient with us during the check in
Please arrive earl to have time to park in town walk/ride over to the library and get your packet and return to your car to get ready to ride
DRIVE THROUGH CHECK IN - Pre registered only no day of registration
To drive through check in come west on 5th from Memorial Blvd (431) and you will turn RIGHT on the side road JUST past the library on 5th. The library address is on White but the library is on 5th (white is a side street).

Come early and we will have no problems!
The Springfield Library DOES NOT have parking on the day of the event! It will be clear and open for bikes! The library is where ride begins so again YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARK THERE! We are just trying to be clear! :0)
Please give yourself time to get ready to ride by checking in the night before or arriving early the day of so you are not stress to get to the start!

- Public Parking Behind the Relient Bank on the corner of Main & 7th (Finish)
- Anywhere around town (remember the afternoon will have a festival in full swing and the main square is close, please be respectful of the residential streets in town)
