Welcome to the first annual Oktoberfest Ride for Kids benefitting the Boys & Girls Club of Springfield, MO! Join us for a fun family-friendly cycling event and after party at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds on Saturday September 19, 2015.
The first 200 registrants will receive a special gift bag and insulated Camelbak water bottle, so sign up early! All riders will also receive a participation medal at the end of the ride.
This entire event will have a green focus, no disposable bottles will be used and recycling receptacles will be provided along the routes and at the party. We encourage you and your team to partner with us and help us promote reusable and sustainable products and a responsible ride.
Prizes will be awarded for best individual costume and best team costumes, so dust off your lederhosen and show us your German spirit! Viel Glück!
Event details and schedule
Registration and packet pickup will begin at 8:00 a.m, the 30 mile ride will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the 10 mile ride will begin at 10:00 a.m. The registration fee is $30 for individual riders and $25 per rider for teams of 5 or more.
Your registraton fee will include entry into the Sertoma Club Heart of the Ozarks Oktoberfest (an $8 value), and all riders will receive a complimentary German lunch and two beer tickets (ages 21 and over). Food and beer will be available for purchase as well, invite your family and friends to support your ride and enjoy this great event!
