Our exciting day begins with an hour and a half tour of the Manor House in Great River. This mansion was designed by Charles C. Haight. It is a Tudor-style English country house. You will tour the 1st and 2nd floors of the mansion. (No elevators) Please also note as the Manor House is old there is no Air Conditioning. They have many fans. After the tour you may enjoy time on your own in the Arboretum state park. There is a cafe in the mansion and
you may purchase a cup of coffee, tea, snacks and sit on the large covered porch overlooking the scenic back yard. After giving you exploration time we will go enjoy some free time in Sayville to grab a bite to eat on your own or do some shopping in the unique town shops. Last stop we will board our charming fishing boat leaving from Captree for our own private tour of the beautiful Southbay. The boat has a snack bar. You may bring beverages on board. This day is rain or shine.
Walking shoes a must!
The coach bus will pick us up in the back of the Sleepy's shopping center on Main St in Smithtown.
