This class is designed to prepare rising sophomores for the rigors of sophomore Collegio. Students will refresh and develop their critical reading and writing skills, focusing on individual student needs. Together, we will complete one of their two required summer reading books, using this text as a platform for in-depth analysis in both a literary and historical context. The book will be determined by the teacher and provided to each student on the first day of class. Through this two-week course, students will practice skills that will help them for model UN as well as practicing the writing process to prepare them for a literary analysis paper they will write at the beginning of sophomore Collegio.
