Description
Lyrical Dance incorporates steps and movements from ballet, jazz, and modern. In an interpretive and stylized form, lyrical dance strives to project strong emotion and feeling, and at its very best combines and blends three of the major dance forms ballet, jazz, and modern. Pre-requisite: Ballet training. Lyrical students must be currently enrolled in a ballet class. Necessary attire for females: Leotard and footless tights. Lyrical paws or turner shoes. Hair must be secured off the neck and face.
Must be 13 years old by the first class. No classes 11/23-11/28, 12/14-12/31; 1/1-1/2; 3/15-3/20. Studio and Zoom. Prerequisite: 2+ years Lyrical Adv I + Ballet enrollment.
