Students will be introduced to the Spanish language through stories, songs, dialogues, role-playing, and reading. They will learn greetings, present tense, expressions, numbers, and enough vocabulary that will allow them to understand and communicate simple sentences describing people and places. Class focuses on communicative approaches.
$25 cash material fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class.

PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION for Santa Monica residents begins Wednesday, August 25 at 6 a.m. Non-resident registration begins Monday, August 30 at 6 a.m. Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at firstname.lastname@example.org. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
