Have fun with your hula sisters and brothers as you learn the captivating and graceful dances of Hawai'i and Tahiti! This four week class will explore both the foundation of hula as well as the basics that accompany the infectious drums of Tahiti. This class is open to all skill levels and will include Polynesian language and culture, plus you will learn one to two dances during the course of the class.
Instructor Bio: Kumu Lorraine Kalei Kinnamon grew up studying Polynesian Dance in Hawaii and has directed the Te Hau Nui School of Hula and Tahitian Dance in Santa Cruz for 17 years.
