Join us for the Central Coast's oldest race, the Elite Rehab Semana Nautica 15K & 4K, for its 61st running this 4th of July. The event features the traditional 15K and the introduction of a family friendly 4K. The 15K is a Grand Prix event and also serves as the USATF SCA 15K Championship.
Put together your best red, white and blue running outfit and join your fellow runners for the Semana Nautica. Organized by your Santa Barbara Athletic Association, the Semana Nautica is one Santa Barbara tradition that gets better with time. The flat and fast 15K course meanders through Goleta before finishing at San Marcos High School. Held on Saturday, July 4th, the race raises much needed $’s for the club to support our community events and youth running development. Register by June 15th to secure discount pricing ($35) with a $5 discount for SBAA members. Only $10 for ages 11-17 and free for ages 10 and younger.

7:00am: Day of Event Registration opens
7:30am: Start of the 15K Walk
8:15am: The 15K Race starts
8:30am: 4K Run/Walk begins
9:00am: Finish Line festivities commence
The 15K Race provides a scenic tour of the Goleta Valley. Flat and fast, it is a sanctioned SBAA Grand Prix event and serves as the SCA 15K championship (Southern California section of the USATF). The 4K Run/Walk will be an out and back course on the Santa Barbara Bike Path - absolutely no hills.
Packet Pick Up
Race materials can be picked up on Friday, July 3rd from the downtown location of the Santa Barbara Running Company (110 Anacapa St, Santa Barbara) from 12-5pm or at San Marcos High School on July 4th from 7am until the start of the race. Please note that the start of the 15K race is approximately a half mile from the finish at San Marcos High School.
