Bridge to 6th Grade Grade: 6 Block: 8:30-11:45 Instructor- Lizette Arellano Lab Fee: $15 Let’s get ready for middle school! This course will provide students with exposure to the curriculum that will be covered in 6th grade. This course is a review of basic mathematical principles needed for success in 6th grade, including a review of fractions, decimals, basic computation, and percentages. Students will be able to practice their mathematical skills and strategies through games and project based learning. This class will also cover oral and written language and puts a strong emphasis on language fundamentals. This course will summarize grammatical concepts and assist students in developing their composition skills. Students will rotate between teachers, giving them a sneak peek of middle school life!
