Activity Organizer: Bits, Bytes and Pixels Email: jonali@bitsbytesandpixels.com Dates: Wednesdays with the first meeting on 2/2/22 and the last meeting on 3/30/22 Time: 4:00 PM–5:00 PM Location: Room 153 Grades: 5–12 Cost: $500 Description: Discover the tricks behind computer generated graphics with this course. Learn the principles that make a good design and create your own eye-catching compositions such as digital Illustrations, photographic effects, surreal digital compositions, branded logo and t-shirt designs, and animated gifs. Make stunning digital artwork for hi-resolution prints and web graphics using the leading industry software for graphic design. Learn from industry professionals, and use your design skills in everything from personal use, classroom presentations, mobile apps to social media. No prior experience required. Students must bring their own devices and software. A computer (Windows PC or Mac) would be needed. The software for this class is Adobe Photoshop. Approximate software cost for the duration of this course is approximately $62, which is not included in the tuition for the course. Assistance will be provided in installing software. Unlimited access to recorded video lessons will be provided at no additional cost.
