Join Sports Basement for the 2nd annual Halloween 5k: a very special (and spooky!) 5K race to raise funds for one of our oldest and dearest partners! 100% of proceeds from race registration and sponsors will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco(BGCSF). BGCSF is committed to inspiring and enabling all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Sports Basement shares this commitment to youth and our communities.
Whether you're looking to do your personal best, looking for an excuse to dress up or just want a fun day with the kids in the park, there is something for everyone. Come for the race, stay for the after-party at Sports Basement Presidio! There will be food trucks, music, games and great deals throughout the store and much much more! After Party 10am - 2pm Presidio Lot
Meet us at the Pumpkin Patch!
For 2019, we'll be hosting an even larger pumpkin patch, thanks to Arata's Farm! Kids (and adult kids) receive free pumpkins that they can carve right at the event (while supplies last)! We'll also have a few barrels of hay, which make perfect backdrops for snapping selfies in your costumes.

This year we'll be switching things up and will be serving up a good old fashioned BBQ for all our runners. Meat or vegi item with sides are free for all participants and guests only need to give a $5 donation. Johnny Doughnuts (and coffee) may also be on scene, so stay tuned.
Okay, the brews aren't exactly from a witch, but we do think they're pretty magical. Race participants get free beer during the entire after party but those who skipped the run can grab some with a $5 donation to Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco! Beer sponsors include:
Games Galore . . . fun for the whole family
Enjoy family fun games like jumbo Jenja, connect four, corn hole and much more. We've even got a special Boosted scooter and board race course set up for you to try out their amazing gear (minimum age 16).

Will there be parking?
There will be NO parking available in the Sports Basement lot due to its use for the post race After Party. Limited parking may be available at the Mason Street Warehouse Parking (new lot across from East Beach), the Main Post, 920 Old Mason St. Parking, and near Crissy Field Center. All is first come, first serve. The Main Post is less than a 1 mile walk to the start, so plan for an extra 15-20 minutes. Due to limited parking, we highly recommend utilizing car services like Uber and Lyft to avoid having to locate parking. There will be monitored bike parking as well at the Sports Basement.
How can I confirm my registration?
To confirm your registration, please visit our Registration Look-Up. Please allow 24 hours after registering for your confirmation to appear in the results.
Can I cancel or transfer my registration?

When/Where is the Packet Pick Up (PPU)?

Where do I pick up my bib?

All runners will need to register and attend their local Packet Pickup prior to race day, however, limited registrations will be available the morning of the race starting at 7AM. Please arrive early if you intend to register that morning.
