Description

This course is closed to further registration.

This introductory music theory and ear training course will help students develop their inner sense of pitch, rhythm, and musicianship through written theory, dictation, and sight-singing practice. In a supportive classroom environment, students will perform singing and rhythm exercises as a group and individually, as well write down dictation exercises. We will discuss practice techniques and take-aways that can be used well after this 8-week course.

Students must bring a 3-ring binder for class handouts, manuscript paper, and pencils. All other course materials will be provided by the instructor.
