Event details and schedule
This is a fun, recreational ride for cyclists of all abilities! The route will highlight some of the most beautiful parts of San Diego and we'll utilize Quartyard at the event conclusion for a great festival with bicycle shop demos, speakers, music, and camraderie.
The ride will begin with at 10 AM on 3/28/2015. Participants can arrive anytime after 9 AM and Meshuggah Shack will be onsite with full coffee service to start your morning right. Please arrive by 9:30 AM to allow time for registration before the event kicks off. The ride is approximately 20 miles and mostly mellow terrain but there are two large hills - one over Point Loma and one up to Balboa Park from Downtown. Riders of all experience levels and bicycle styles are encouraged to participate. This is a fun ride, not a race, and there is no shame in walking a bit if needed.
All participants are required to wear a helmet and must follow the rules of the road for safety. We will check your ID at registration and it will be needed if you are drinking at the event. Finally, bring some extra money as there will be a variety of great food options and other vendors at Quartyard!
