We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Friday, August 27, 2021.
RoboThink supports STEM goals by fostering creativity, problem-solving and innovative thinking. Always encourage children to ask questions, discover answers and think outside the box.
Our camps provide hands-on experience in engineering and STEM concepts (structures, gears, sensors, electronics, etc.)
Each day the participants build robots or video games, following step-by-step instructions, and continue their learning by improving, fixing, customizing, and playing with their cook robotics or video game creations.
Our modular parts allow young students to use sensors, motors, and electronics without dealing with small pieces, screwdrivers, or soldering. Our step-by-step, project-based workbooks introduce new concepts through fun activities and easy-to-understand concepts.
Robotics Camp RoboThink kids will work on Arduino-based robotic designs while learning about STEM electronics & robotic sub-systems using cells and bricks, gears, axles, DC & servo motors, sensors, and wireless controllers.
More advanced kid's designs incorporate the use of Scratch coding (variables, conditionals, loops, etc.), Bluetooth technology, laptops and tablets to control and have fun with their robots.
LUNCH BREAK - 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Lunch provided by the San Diego Unified School District. The Linda Vista Recreation Center staff will supervise the participants during lunch break.
