Successful completion of this course will result in the certification required for lifeguarding at swimming pools in the State of California. This Red Cross course will provide training in Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid. Each participant must pass the swim test on the first night. You must be at least 15 years or older. Classes are taught both in and out of the water.
*Class must have four (4) pre-registered students by Wednesday prior to avoid cancellation.

(1st) Place name on interest list by calling (909)384-5233
(2nd) Attend a Pre-Course swim test to qualify as a candidate for training from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Test for Class #1 on January 28, 2022; Test for Class #2 on March 4, 2022; Test for Class #3 on March 29, 2022; Test for Class #4 on April 29, 2022; Test for Class #5 on June 2, 2022. Must bring a swimsuit and towel (NO GOGGLES). Pool location TBA.
(3rd) Upon successful completion of the swim test, make two payments to the PRCSD: 1) Registration fee of $125.00 for San Bernardino residents/$137.50 for non-residents 2) Supply fee of $36.00 paid directly to Aquatics Supervisor, in a cashier's check or money order, payable to American Red Cross. SBCUSD students may qualify for a discount ask Aquatics Supervisor for more information.
