About this event
Have fun playing and learning basketball! Athletes will be taught technical basketball skills and developmentally appropriate tactics will be used to allow athletes to play team basketball. Emphasis is on skill and athletic development while applying the basic skills to game-like situations. Practices will be on Wednesdays from 3:20 - 4:30 and Saturdays from 12-1. Wednesday practices will be in the LS Assembly Hall and Saturday practices will be in the main gym. Games will usually take place on every other Saturday in place of practice - this will optimize the practice to game ratio at 3:1. The team will play games against local teams at a developmentally appropriate level.
