The Tucson 5000 will be held virtually on September 13, 2020!!
Instead of a Mother's Day Mile, there will be a free FitKidz Mile in association with this event. All non FitKidzs (adults) registered in the mile right now will be switched to the 5k run.
If you have any questions please contact the Race Director.Tucson's Fastest 5k
Historically the Tucson 5000 is one of the fastest 5Ks in the West! This pancake-flat, fast USATF certified course provides the perfect opportunity for a 5K PR. This race has been a Tucson staple for over 20 years with 20+ of the current Arizona age records for the 5k being set at the Tucson 5000!
FitKidz MILE: Normally, we do the one mile race In honor of Mother's Day and call it "The Mother's Day Mile". Because we are moving this event to the fall this year we are changing this to a FitKidz Mile. Of course, you should all make sure to honor your Mother's every day!
Note: All adults are welcome to run with a child during their mile run.
Bandanas/Facemasks for all: A bandanda that can be used as a facemask with the race logo will be given to all registered 5k runners.
