For 36 years, the AFC Half has drawn droves of local and national talent to the fast, scenic course that winds from Point Loma past the San Diego Bay, through Harbor Island and downtown to a photo finish in Balboa Park.

Touted as the only running event with a halftime, the Double Road Race San Jose features a 10K, followed by a recovery period, then a 5K. For those who don't want to race 9 miles, there's a 5K run/walk and a mile event for kids. The top five runners of the Double in each age group will receive a special two-sided medal as well as the chance to win prize money.
