In this workshop, learn three basic knots that are the building blocks for macrame. Once mastered, you'll combine all three techniques to create your very own, one of a kind macrame wall hanging.

Materials list:

(1) Bead Landing™ Cotton Rope Value Pack or (1) Craft Designer 3mm/32 Ply Macrame Cord 50yds or (1) Bonnie Craft cord Craft Cord 4mm 100yds)

(1) 12" Wood Dowel (or a found stick or an old ruler)

Scissors

Tape

3-5' foot work area with hook or rack to hang dowel from

Scrap string or hooks

Katy is enchanted by knots; inspired by their curves, uses, meanings, materials, history, and origins. She discovered macrame five years ago and describes it as a versatile medium that challenges her to explore shape and line through the lens of form and function. Katy is grateful to have found this avenue of creativity and is excited to share her passion with you.
