We're sorry, but this class is over. The last meeting was Saturday, June 24, 2017.
This energetic ensemble sings in unison, two, and three parts. Students have fun learning vocal and rehearsal techniques by singing traditional choral repertoire, folk songs, multi-cultural literature and spirited novelty pieces. Youth Singers learn correct vocal production including proper vowel placement and breathing, enunciation of consonants, and correct posture, as well as listening and ensemble skills. Singers will also improve their music reading skills using Solfège and Kodaly hand signals as part of the curriculum.
