About this event

Description

We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Friday, August 13, 2021.

Learn the basics of woodworking, how to use various hand tools, building techniques, and math skills! All new students start off by making a sanding block and spin top. This gives them a taste of each tool we use and how to use them, then they have the option to make whatever they want! We'll provide a host of ideas, but campers are strongly encouraged to use their imaginations to build what they'd like. Projects can include birdhouses, toys cars, boats, treasure chests, etc. Camps will have time for teaching as well as outdoor play time where we can run around and enjoy the summer!
Please bring a peanut free snack, lunch, and a refillable water bottle. Wear sunscreen and appropriate closed toe footwear for safety and outdoor play.

Lab Fee: $60 payable to instructor.
